I have been researching double jogging strollers and could use some help from someone who actually owns one of these. I would love a BOB but have not been able to find a used one on craigslist yet. So I am looking at the Schwinn Free Wheeler 2, the Schwinn Turismo, the InStep Safari, and the Baby Trend. The measurements are not much help and I have not been able to see one in person. So here is my question...I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 13 month old. My 2 year old is very tall - she wear 3t-4t already. I am worried that she will be too big for the stroller. Can anyone tell my which, if any of these, would be my best bet? TIA!
the valco twin is awesome for you, perfect. you just need to take out a mortgage to pay for it. ours was a gift, thank goodness. i absolutlely love it. however, its heavy and awkward if you have to lift it, unless youre fairly strong and tall. i dont ever really lift mine, i keep it in the hatch of the van and flip it in and out, its awesome. if i had to lift it much, it wouldnt be good. but i dont :) its a great stroller.
I love my BOB revolution. My daughter is tall also, she is 2 1/2 and 38 inches, she fits really well in it and I could see her fitting for a long time yet. My friend got a Baby Trend and the seats are really narrow and their is no leg room for the kids.
I have a very tall 3 year old, he wears a size 5 and is 43 inches tall. I have been looking for a good jogger to fit him and his 1 year old sister for about 6 months. The Baby Trend SUCKS, it is so small. We tried one at Babies R Us.
If money isn't an issue- get a BOB, I cannot afford one so I am still searching. I also deam about getting a Valco Tri Mode Twin.
The only one that I can comment on is the Baby Trend double jogging stroller, both of my kids, 3 and 15 mo. ride in it fine and both are tall. I find it to be a great double stroller although I use it more for walking than running. The Baby Trend is sold at Babies R Us so you can bring your kids into the store and have them try it out w/ you.
My tall 5 year old still fits in our BOB duallie very well! He's not allowed to ride all the time, but when he's exhausted it's great! He can still stretch put and sleep in it at music festivals! He's 46 inches tall.
