Moms out there help- any advice please share!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I didn't even have time to explain- but it was my son's toddler bed- the critters were not even in the mattress if not hidden in the crevices of the wood from the crib- But I threw everything out- got a new bed (plastic) mattress, and sheets- THERE WERE MILLIONS ON THAT BED!!! Some jumped out and some were in the walls- we cleaned the whole room - floors with bleach and the walls with bed bug killer spray! we still see few still walking on the walls- but it gets worse- see my next question- very scared and have no idea what to do

Tea tree oil. Most bugs hate tea tree oil. Mix it with water and put it in a spray bottle.
J. and all moms and moms to be. I have used a gentleman by the name of Jerry, he owns a company called Gardian. This man is the most intelligent and thorough individual you would want to meet. Here is his telephone number and good luck. I know he can help with anything he can help with when it comes to bugs, insects, etc...etc.....
i call him jerry bugs by the way.....
jerry ###-###-#### he is central new jersey....
There is NO need for chemicals! There is no need to throw anything out. We had these critters come home with us and it royally sucked at first.
I wrapped the mattresses with heavy construction grade plastic garbage bags, tape the seams very well. Keep the mattress wrapped for a month or more (you can sleep on it during this time, it is just crinkly sounding). This will suffocate the little buggers. When you finally unwrap the mattress, vacuum it. Wash all clothes, bed stuff etc in very hot water with vinegar and detergent. Voila!
J.,
You need to seek the advice of a professional ASAP. Bed bug are extremely hard to get rid of once they invade your house, and the longer you wait, the more difficult it will be to clear them out.
Good luck!
I woke up with bed bugs on me in a nice hotel in Orlando FL and it was the most disgusting experience ever. Thank God none of them came home with me but I was extremely careful and had washed all my clothes at a laundry mat and threw out my luggage. I did some research and basically they are impossible to get rid of. You will need to get rid of all the mattresses in the house and rug and stuff animals and get you house treated by a professional. I dont know who could afford that but I think that is really the only way to get rid of them and even then you may not be successful. You definitely need to consult a professional.
good luck,, call a professional exterminater in.... if you live near PA... this would be a good place to get the exterminater from.. they can use stronger chemicals than NJ. Go to a friends house.. after they exterminate.. or to a relatives home.. make sure you clean all clothes and laundry really good.. in hot hot hot water.. clean hair good too.. vacumn really good.. get someone to help you.. someone you can trust.. but get the exterminator soon.. you won't get rid of them on your own.
Hi J.,
You really need to have a pest control professional deal with this situation, even if it looks like you've gotte them all, it's a complicated process and I am sorry that you are going through it.
oh, yes, get a professional asp. mattresses will have to be gone. bedding washed and washed and washed in hottest setting. same thing for clothes, stuffed animals etc. first things first, get a professional asp. those things multiply faster than rabbits and very difficult to get rid of
