Hello! We will be switching to BCBS HMO =( hopefully only briefly. However, in the meantime, this means that I must find a new pediatrician for my DS. Does anyone out there know of or go to a pedi that you really like that might take BCBS HMO? We live in Hutto, and currently go to ADC @ NAMC, so anything between there and here would be acceptable. I don't want to travel real long distances, but certainly will travel a little ways for a good dr. I'm sad because I really like his dr. and hope that our insurance will once again change come August and we can switch back. TIA for any help/advice you might have.
Thank you all for your help! We have decided to go with Dr. Ferrell in Hutto. We decided this would be easiest since we all have to switch doctors (not just our son) and ARC is just across the road. Plus, it looks like this transfer will only be temporary. We will know in about a week, but it looks like there is a high chance that our insurance will be switching AGAIN in August and we will be able to go back to our old doctors. I am mostly concerned about this as I LOVE my OB (on the old insurance) and we are considering TTC #2. =)
Dr. Judith Enderss at Austin Regional Clinic in Pflugerville is FANTASTIC! She is wonderful and truly loves the children she serves. I can't say enough good about her.

My son goes to Dr. Spencer in Cedar Park. He is with ARC, I think they take that. I have BCBS Health Select. They do take a pretty wide range of insurance. I tried switching docs when he moved to Cedar Park but we were not satisfied, and Dr. Spencer is great, so we switched back. ###-###-####.
