Aquadoodle

My daughter has the full size aquadoodle, and it's quite dirty from the years of use. My question is: has anyone ever washed one of these? I know the tag says not to, but there are lots of kid stuff you arn't suppose to machine wash but do (ie stuffed animals). Just wondered if anyone had tried it or not. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I have the aqua doodle and was wondering the same thing. My daughter would sit on it, and the cat woudl lay on it. now, i put the whole thing under our coffee table in the living room, so she pulls it out when she wants to play with it. But cleaning it,i dont know what is safe. Maybe tonight will look on the package it came in.

I haven't done it myself, but i would put it on a low agitation cycle. You could also spray shout and soak it, take a smal scrub brush and gently scrub heavy areas. hope this helps.

My daughter threw up on hers and we rinsed it and I wiped it down with a clorox wipe after it dried. It crackled the finish on the writing area, but it still works.

I might second what Cassandra said and add that you should throw it in a zippered pillow case to protect it from too much bouncing around in the washing machine. Use coolest and gentlest setting.
Good luck.
