Anyone Know How to Get a Good Deal on Six Flags Season Pass?

All of my Mom's grandkids have free tickets to six flags, and there are 10 of the kids. Needless to say, my mom doesn't want to take all of the grandkids at once, she wants to take them individually. She wants a season pass (just one) but they are $90 a piece. Anyone know of any places/ways to get a deal on one? She asked me to ask. Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

I know $90 sounds like a lot of money (and it is). but if she is going to take kids to Six Flags 3 or more times this summer, it will more than pay for itself. I don't think it is unreasonable for her to ask for parents to chip in and help her pay for the pass. Buying a season pass is really the least expensive way to do multiple trips to Six Flags. As far as discounts on the season pass, I have never heard of any. There are usually various discounts on admission (like those mentioned in previous posts) but it is still cheaper to use a season pass if you are going 3 or more times. You can also add parking to a season pass which will pay for itself in 2 visits. Parking is $15 a day. Hope this helps.

if you add on to thier email list they will send you a coupon for childs rate ticket around $30
but maybe she should charge each of the grandkid's parents $10 a peice to pay for her... :) dont forget parking
on the $30 a day ticket rate parking is free though
Good luck!

Sometimes coke or Pepsi cans/bottles will have specials on the can. You might check there.

You might call 6 Flags and see if you bought them all at once, if they would give you a group discount rate? Maybe they would be willing to donate them. You could ask.

I know they have lowered the price of admission. You might check their website and see if there is any specials for the summer.

Maybe family members could go into together and get a few of the season passes as early birthday or Christmas gifts.

You might check with the City of Arlington and the Arlington visitor's guide book, they might have a coupon in there.

Hello,
I just went to Six Flags the weekend before last (6/21/08). They had an annoucment that you could upgrade your park ticket to a season pass for either $30 or $40. So if she were to buy a ticket ($29.99) she could upgrade to a season pass once she got there for pretty much the price of a second ticket. I would assume this is a special they have going on right now.
