I have also had nausea and heartburn suddenly. I have an IUD in place but it's making me worry I'm pregnant.

What can I do next?

Err.. brown spots happen due to hormonal changes. People can get them though for a variety of reasons though. But they aren't a sign of pregnancy..

If your worried, go to OBGYN

I had some of those pregnancy mask spots on my skin (face) and they faded after my pregnancy, and probably even more once my hormones leveled out - after I weaned. I just remember having them on my cheeks and above my top lip.

No idea if this is what you're experiencing. If you suspect you may be pregnant on the IUD, I urge you to go get checked or to take a pregnancy test ASAP.

if you think yo may be pregnany you have a few options. you can pee on a stick from the pharmacy and it will tell you if you are pregnant or not. or you can call your dr and set up an appointment to find out if your pregnant.
brown spots could be due to many things. if that itsself concerns you then contact your dr about it.

I also add that I had those when I was pregnant and they went away as soon as I had my child....I'm aware of going to the obgyn but I just went and she said it's probably nothing and it would be too early to tell if I were. I just want some peace of mind....but this one popped up a week after cold turkey weaning... (no negative comments please) she handled it perfectly fine. I hope someone else has experienced this that can tell me it might just be hormones.
