My husband and I are getting ready to seperate-this has been awhile in the making and I just want to get it done and over with, but the only thing that is stopping me is the fact that I don't have an attorney! I am looking for someone on the Norfolk side of the water, female preferably, who is familiar with the whole military aspect (child support, custody, etc), and someone who is affordable, since I don't make a lot of money. Does anyone have any recomendations? Any ideas that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!
PS I have already been to Navy legal and the only recomendation they could give me was to pay $35 for a civilian referral service. I am just looking to get some names from people who have "been there, done that" instead of a shot in the dark with someone I know nothing about.

Mary G Commander, she handled my divorce and child custody. Shes is fierce in getting what you deserve! I would reccomend her to anyone and everyone! She is not too expensive and specializes in military divorce as well. Her number is ###-###-####. I was referred to her by a friend and we both had great success.
