The Fort Worth Nature Center is a great place to visit. Lots to see and do there, check there calendar for events and classes. They have 20 miles of hiking trails. They have a prairie dog town and Bison. They have lots of events geared towards families and children. Great place for photography, hiking, canoeing.

I would check out the stockyards and watch the cattle drive. There are several things to do in the stockyards.

The FW Zoo is amazing. And the Museum of Science and Nature.

Welcome! The science museum and zoo are both excellent, and there are also several art museums and the botanic garden in the cultural district. There's also a fun miniature train to ride right outside the zoo, and the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge has hiking trails and other outdoor activities.

Artisan Center Theater in Hurst has GREAT kids' plays, at a very reasonable price ($5 a ticket).

Also, check out local libraries for story time.

Have fun!
