I am home almost every day with my son, and was hoping to find some other moms in the area. I feel my son should interact with other children, even though I know at his age he won't really "play" yet. So if anyone else lives around here and would like to get together I would love to hear from you!

Hello M.. My name is C. and I am 23 years old. I have two children a 5 year old daughter and a 1 year old son and another baby on the way. I live in Front Royal Va which is not to far from Warrenton. I live in Fairfax, VA and am also a single mother, age 24 with a 5 month old! So just at that we have somethings in common! If I may ask, how long have you be a solo mom? Has it been as long as your child has been here? I just recently became a single mother, but my little one is too little to understand! I think Warrenton is a good 40 min. from me but I thought I would respond since it seems agewise we have something in common!!
Also, check out www.matchingmoms.org. It's a great site geared toward helping moms with little ones meet up for playdates and such within their local area. I've met a few pretty good friends for both myself and my son through that site who we see on a pretty regular basis. It's free to register, so it can't hurt to check it out :-)

To find other moms in your area, try the local MOM's club. If you get on their website there is a link that will connect you with the president in your area. Its a nice way to meet other moms and kids.

Hello! I am moving out to Quakertown PA in a few weeks with my husband and 8 month old son. I don't know the area at all though so I'm not sure how far Warrenton is from the Doylestown/Quakertown area. We currently are living in Michigan where our son has lots of family he sees all the time. I am concerned about him only being home with me every day and would love for him to have some interaction as well. It would be fun for him to have a little boy around his age to play with.
