My daughter is 3 1/2 and we would like to take her for a first dental exam but we need an affordable dentist that is great with kids. Does anyone have any recommendations for a dentist that has resonable prices who you like??

I would select a few Dentists based on expertise and then make phone calls to inquire on their rates. Make sure to mention that you do not have dental insurance upfront (I presume this is the case). A lot of professionals are sensitive to clients that are not covered by insurance and offer reduced rates, you just have to speak up. Good Luck.

Elmhurst
They are very nice!
I am a dental hygienist that lived in Addison and my boss (the dentist) lived in Elmhurst. I think Dr. Matke is wonderful with kids but our office is in Elmwood Park. It's about a 30 minute drive. Nonetheless, we have an associate dentist who comes in once in a while, he actually used to be one of our dental assistants while still in school as well, anyways he also works in an office in Addison, IL on Lake St. By the way in case you did not know Addison is kinda in between Elmhurst and Wood Dale. His name is Dr. Jose Mariscal he is great with kids. I wish I could tell you the office name and number but it is on lake and JF kenneny Dr in between the Jewels and Citgo. Good luck
I took my twin sons to a Pediatric Dentist on Irving Park Rd. just west of Wood Dale Rd. (faces north. I think the name is Wood Dale Dentist. Sorry I don't have more details. We only went to them for 2 years until they were old enough for our primary dentist. They're now 7. It's great to start them early...now they have no troubles in the chair on their own.
