Hello my three year old loves to dance and would like to sign her up for some dance classes. Does anyone have a good experience at a dance place in Flower Mound area? Thanks so much!

They offer a combo ballet/tap class for little ones at the CAC in Flower Mound. It is very reasonably priced ($38 for members/$42 for non-members a month) and would be a great opportunity to see if your little one likes the structure of a dance class before signing her up for more formal classes at a studio in the Fall. My daughter is 4 and will be attending this summer. At the end of the summer they will do a short recital. The classes are on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:00 and they begin tonight. Maybe we will see you there! :-) Good luck!

We LOVE Turning Point in FM! My daughter has been going since she was four. Amy, the owner, teaches the little ones and she loves it and my daughter loves her, she is 6 now. They are easy going, not strict with dancers like some places around here and the kids have a great time. Registration starts in June but she is doing camps this summer too.

I second both of those answers. My daughter started at the CAC when she was 3 and she really liked it. But then we tried out Turning Pointe, now that she's a little older, and she decided she liked that better because she learns more. Amy (at TP) is better about taking time to correct the dancers' moves to make sure they are learning it the right way. Which doesn't matter so much when they're 3 and just starting. I would recommend the CAC first, I think it's a good starting point, plus you can't beat the price!
