We go to a tap/ballet combo class at EXCITE gym in Parker Square in Flower Mound. My daughter just turned 3 last month. She loves it!
My 3 year old loves to dance. I would like to sign her up in a fun dance class (ballet, tap, or similar). If you have a child that has had a wonderful experience somewhere...please share!

My girls have been going to Ballet Conservatory on 407 for 7 years and they love it! I really like it because they really teach them the moves--the instructors are excellent. They are stricter as the girls get older but this is just part of the discipline of dance in my opinion.
I also appreciate that the girls are dressed as little girls, not hoochies (risque outfits, 'adult' moves)--this is very common for lots of dance studios and I just do not think that is appropriate for any girl young or old.
They start with pre-ballet until age 7 and then go into ballet; they can take tap starting at 5 and jazz starting at 7.
Hello R.,
Have you checked out Winkids on 2499 & Waketon?
My daughter attends Forcher's Dance Studio in Irving. It's off Rochelle and Story and they offer classes on Saturday for her age. My daughter started when she was 3 and loved it. This is her 4th year of dance and the teachers are awesome. The ones for her age group are kindergarten teachers and know how to teach the little ones. The owner is Jacquelyn Forcher who is also the founder of Momentum Dance Company. You can find them on the web at www.momentumdancecompany.org It will have the link to their dance studio as well. Hope this helps.
YES, YES, YES! Turning Pointe dance studio in the Bartonville Town Center! The owner A. is great! It is a warm, loving atmosphere. We first took dancing in Denton at the Denton Ballet Academy, and it was HORRIBLE. The owner and store worker are RUDE, and the place is old and not kept clean-- ever! The recital was a joke. Turning Pointe is completely different. A. has a great passion for her studio and takes pride in maintaining it. The recital has a theme and is entertaining. It is very close to your area-- right around the corner from the Target in Flower Mound and the Shops at Highland Village, across from Lantana. I think you'll be pleased. She has a website as well-- just search for Turning Pointe in Bartonville!
good luck--
PS- if you do end up checking it out, tell her that Hollie sent you! :)
