F. when my little girl did that a friend told me to use rubbing alcohol and it took it right off. It works to remove stains from walls also! Good Luck!
Ok on Sunday I scrubbed my white cabinets clean! And they looked wonderful I have been admiring them non stop actaully!! Then right before I put my son down for nap her grabbed a red sharpie off the counter (stupid me for leaving it there!) and drew a single line on a cabinet!!!!!! I thought I was going to die!! LOL!! So I tried scrubbing it with a sponge and they didn't work then I sprayed the Lysol 4 in 1 spray and let it sit for a minute but all that did was fade it to hot pink and smear it!! I don't have a Mr. Clean magic eraser so what can I do other than that? Please help I will be obessed with it til I get it off!! I know I said a little nuts sorry bout that!
Well the only thing that worked was bleach water, the magic marker faded it but thats about it. so thank you!

Hi - You can use solumel and melamagic...those will do wonders!! I've gotten up red wine, blood, hotwing sauce, yellow medicine, urine and vomit out of my carpets with this stuff. The good news - it's safe and non-toxic!!
Good luck!!
I am a clorox person. It is clean and gets rid of germs and is overall the best cleaner in my opinion. YES, you have to be careful with it so that you don't ruin something.
As for inks....I have used rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover (this might not work on your paint), and hair spray.
I don't know how that Magic Eraser works but it is a great tool to keep on hand!
Good luck!
Clorox bleach pen. It worked on my white counter tops.
I've used liquid hand sanitizer on my coffee table and it came right off.
Whatever you choose, test a patch of the cabinets somewhere out of sight in case it changes the surface appearance.
Go buy the Mr Clean magic eraser - NOTHING else worked for me! My child used a purple sharpie on ours! I tried everything!
the best thing to do is go down to Kroger, Target, where ever, and buy a Mr. Clean magic eraser. It took black sharpie off a white door for me.
Solumel is great but if you are not a member, go to the store and use Googone. It will not hurt your cabinets. I use it on my wood table all the time, it removes, glue, permament marker, and everything. I have a girl scout troop and they get everything on my table. Googone takes everything off the table without damaging the surface. Please do not use bleach and that other stuff that is going to damage your furniture... Googone works, i use it ALL the time. (that is until i get my solumel that i just ordered:-)
I absolutely agree with Tracy T!! MelaMagic and Sol-U-Mel work wonders!!! And, if your children decide to "help" you with the cleaning, they will NOT HURT your children!!
I would try the bleach. Since the cabinets are white you will not have to worry about the bleach removing color. Another thinng that I have tried and had success with on other things, like the fridge, is to color over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker and then wipe off the dry erase marker. I don't know why it works, but it does. For your cabinets, I would test only a small area first, if using the dry erase marker method. I think good ol' Clorox, if you have it on hand, will do the trick though.
Until you get something to permanently erase it, try White-Out. Maybe that will make it less unsightly until you figure out how to remove it for good. Good Luck!
kiltz(oil) spray can will cover.Than hopefully you have matching paint.
