I worked on a big event today We ended up with 4 Ham Bones that still have a lot of ham on them.
We usually make spit pea soup or a pot of beans. We want to do something else.

What would you make if you had a nice meaty Ham bone?

If you have a recipe that would be great too. Thank you for your time.

What can I do next?

Yep, pretty much my go-to is ham and beans... yummy!

I would suggest freezing each ham bone in a separate bag for later use.

A 15 bean soup or a lentil soup is great with a meaty ham bone in it!

Peasant food: ham, green beans and cubed potatoes, salt, pepper, into a 13x9 pan with a little water, cover w/foil. Bake til potatoes are soft.
