How about a weekend getaway? Or at least a night out with no kids. Can you ship the kids off to the grandparents?
Hi Guys!!!
First time here!!!
I have my 10th year anniversary coming up on May 20th. I have no clue what to do. I have no clue on what to give my husband. Last year I gave him a wedding band (the original one was getting ruined because of work). I need ideas, suggestions, please!!! Thanks!!

Is he romantic, would enjoy a candlelight dinner or watching the moon rise or sunset, or is he the kind of guy who would enjoy an evening at the bowling alley. If you have children, then you'll need a sitter if you two go out, or have the children be a part of a family picnic. I don't know their ages; but they'd delight in preparing special cards for their parents; and making peanut butter crackers....
We just had our 10th anniversary and what we did was spend a nice quiet dinner at the melting pot.
Hey, D.! My 6th anniversary is next weekend and I, too, struggled with a gift. I did something a bit crazy but fun... I got boudoir photos taken. It was a great experience, and I figured it was a bit more romantic than the skateboard I was planning on getting him. It may not be for everyone, but I'm sure hoping he likes them! Va-va-voom!
Congratulations! We just celebrated our 10th yesterday! We decided not to exchange gifts and instead we're taking an Alaskan cruise this summer. It's a big milestone, so consider a special kid-free trip if you can afford it, even if it's just a weekend getaway.
I am a portrait photographer located in Trinity. I was going to suggest the boudior photos and someone already did. You can find my webpage at www.photosbydg.com I don't do nudes...unless it's maternity, but I do classy portraits that are affordable, check it out! Congratulations on 10 yrs!!!D.
Congrats! I am also celebrating my 10th anniversary this year, Nov. 25th. I just found out that my husband planned a cruise for a few days and we'll be leaving my children with my parents. It was to be a surprise, but I have to get a passport and I actually do better without surprises - the planner in me. Now it gives me something to look forward to. Try to get away, just the two of you, and enjoy some together time!
Go on a cruise, renew your vows.
Me too May 27th! I can't believe it's been 10yrs! My hubby is really and I mean really into football we will be watching the NFL Draft next week can't you tell I am so excited (sarcasim!). So I got him a new cover for our grill with his favorite football team logo on it. And we are going out of town for a few days and splurging on a really nice hotel on the beach. I'll probably get him something else as well but I'm not sure yet so I'll be seeing what other people say too!
My hubby gave me a Grandfather clock with the inscription 'til the end of time'. So what about a nice watch? I gave him some NICE truck parts that he'd been hinting about.

If you can afford it, a trip without kids can be nice. My husband and I were able to go to Hawaii for a week for our 10th anniversary (that was 12 + years ago), and leave our children (then ages 7 and 2) with relatives. It was a wonderfully relaxing time--like a 2nd honeymoon--and a great way to reconnect with my husband.
OMG! Unreal!!! I was about to post this SAME THING!!!!!! LOL My 10th wedding anniversary is on May 20th, too!!!!!!!! And I've been thinking about getting my husband a new wedding band.....an "upgraded" wedding band, but I didn't know if that was something he'd really love. OMG.........what a small world!! I'll be reading all of your responses as well. =0) I guess May 20th, 2000 was a great day for both of us!!! LOL
Don Cesar in st. Pete weekend with or without kids. you can also request to exchange the vowels. Upgrade your room and get a couple massage. Congratulations!!!! My 10th is coming up in August, we had plans to go to Hawaii, but I am expecting so we are considering Don Cesar...
I agree, Renew your vows. It's really beautiful, makes me cry every time we do it, which we have been doing yearly for the past 12 years!
