A trip/weekend away - at least plan it ALL and make it a suprise ?

Just my 2 cents - I never understood giving each other anniversary gifts. To me it's about celebrating your life togehter. Take the time to do something special together, dinner at a favorite restaurant or a weekend away.

I second the weekend away. OR even just a night away, if you can swing it financially. Chances are, if you are having such a hard time coming up with an idea, there is nothing he really NEEDS, or really WANTS but wouldn't go out and buy himself. If there is, then you might consider something like that. But in the absence of some really desired by him thing, I'd definitely go for the night or weekend away, all planned out, without him knowing anything about it. That's a gift for both of you!
