I Keep Getting Respiratory Infections and Can't Get Rid of My Cough

I am asking this because I am worried I have something more serious, but don't have insurance, and already went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago. Claritin and Other Allergy Meds

My son often gets runny nose/cough symptoms and my pediatrician has recommended that I try putting him on Claritin to manage those symptoms. I am reluctant to put him on medicine for prolonged periods of time. Dose anyone have information about any potential harmful effects of long-term use of allergy medicines in toddlers? Also, any suggestions of natural remedies that have worked would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is It Asthma?

My 1 year old son has had a cough since the second week in January. He'll wake up in the middle of the night just hacking and chocking. He has a few fits during the day as well but it's really a night time thing. I've tried every kind of medicine there is and nothing seems to work. Ongoing Runny Nose and Cough

My son, who is almost a year old has been getting colds the past 2 months (he is in daycare). His cold finally cleared but he continues to have a runny nose and cough on and off.
