How to Treat Newborn with Yeast Diaper Rash?
My 3 week old has a persistent yeast diaper rash. We treated it with Lotrimin for 5 days, which helped some but the rash is still bright red in the very middle of her bottom, where her little cheeks touch each other. Pediatrician called in Nystatin and we started using that last night. This morning it is still about the same. Does anyone have experience with how to treat this? How long should it take for the Nystatin to clear it up? Any other suggestions?
