Need Baby Registry Advice

I'm expecting a baby girl in February, and we just brought home our new 10 and 5 year-old sons from Russia. Life is a little hectic right now, and most of my time is spent taking care of our new boys. A few friends are wanting to host a baby shower for me in January, and I am hearing mixed stories about certain "necessary items" to put on a baby registry. Moms of Multiples - What to Buy for Gift?

I have a good friend that is expecting twin girls. This is her first pregnancy, she is an older mom (35) and she plans on this being her "one shot deal". She also plans on going back to work and having a nanny. She is not all about green, organic, etc. Now - for my question.
