Advice for Weaning a 2 Year Old from Pacifier
At my son's 2 year old check-up yesterday, the pediatrician commented that it's time to wean him from the pacifier to allow his teeth to develop well. My son recognized the doctor's office as a place where he is poked and prodded by others since he was four months old, so the pacifier has been a life-saver at doctor visits. I've been hoping he would get attached to a stuffed animal, but that hasn't really happened. He has one little tiger for his crib, but sometimes he tosses that and the blanket right out of his crib after he goes down...
