How Much Miralax Should I Give My 6 Yo?

I have a stopped up little girl who is just recently out of pull-ups for BM's and is scared, therefore, resistant to "let it go" in the potty. Her Ped suggested Miralax, but I don't know how much to give her. I just bought a bottle at CVS and it says 17 grams for 16-adult. Anyone know how much to give?? Thanks everyone!

Miralax Vs. Suppositories

I took away my son's pullups and he is withholding his stool now. Today is the 3rd day. I think he just needs to poop once in the potty and he'll be OK. He's scared of the notion and he needs to see that it's OK to poop in the toilet. So I know there's a buildup of poop in his system. he was dancing around yesterday trying to hold it in. Anyone Out There Have a Constipated Child?.

Ok...This is about my 4 year old daughter. She has had constipation problems almost since she was born. When she was just a few months old, I'd be on the phone or in the dr's office every week saying that she hasn't pooped in 5-6 days. They never took it too seriously and would tell me things like give her a warm bath. Well, that was done every day anyways and didn't do anything. I've been thru the Karo syrup and juice and it just kept getting worse. By age 2 she would be hunched over her bed for 45 minutes at a time to try to poop....
