Crokpot is your best friend, house works goes undone, tons of help from my husbad, no TV, internet or cell phone until after 8 pm. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I'm a FT working mom and have 2 kids: girl and boy, ages for 4 and 17 months. DH and I have gone back and forth on the subject of a 3rd. I love babies, but I wonder if that's the reason I want another. I try to remember that babies grow up :-)
I was starting to come to peace with the fact we are out of the baby stage and was willing to get rid of baby stuff, but am having 2nd thoughts. I struggle with the lifestyle/experiences I want to have and have for my family and in all honesty...a 3rd child would absolutely affect that - there is no doubt in my mind. I also worry about just loosing myself - I spend so much time being an employee and then a mom, it's hard enough to have energy to be a "good" wife, let alone have time for the things I like to do (crafts, photography, etc).
So, if you have 3 and work FT - what has been your experience? how do you keep it together?

I work FT and have 3 kids. Ages 7, 5 and 16 months. I am not going to lie and say that it is easy, because it is not. But it is worth every minute! I am very happy that we decided to have our last baby. Things get easier as they get older. The real hard part is when they are all three young and still in car seats, diapers and take bottles.
The hardest part for me is when my husband is at work and I have to tote all three of the around on errands.
But like I said - it is hard, but very worth it! (for us!)
Good luck in making your decision. A.
Hello N.! We have 3 children ages 5, 4 and 8 months. I work full time (I was just laid off and will be home full time come April 1) and my husband did too until a month ago (he's now home with them during the day and will return to work when I am done working). To relieve him (and because he's a man and they can't seem to handle multi-tasking), I take over whenever I am home. I also do most of the cleaning, laundry, bills, grocery shopping, kid bathing. He usually cooks. It is not easy but I love it more than anything (well, not the chores part but the kids!)! The hardest part, like Amanda said is having to take the 3 of them on errands. And I also agree with Amanda that it gets easier the older they get. My life is chaotic, I don't much time to myself (but it's greatly appreciated when I do!) but I love it and I wouldn't change a thing! As for how do I keep it together? Barely ~ LOL! And one day at a time, not fussing over what I can't control and trying not to be overwhelmed and just enjoy my kids. Good luck!
Hi N., I can't say that I know how you feel because I am mom of one. A very active 19 month old little boy. I knew when we got pregnant that I didn't want to put him in day care and I also knew that I would eventually want more children. To make things a bit more difficult, my husband is in the Army so we are moving a lot. I was so blessed to have the opportunity to work from my home come to me. I work from my home with my son and I help other moms do the same. I would love to share more information with you and find out if this may be an option for you. You are able to work as much or as little as you would like so maybe you could try it out for a while to see if it is a good fit. Message me and we can chat or visit my website http://www.internetceomoms.com/meganh
I should clarify that I do have a job where I work from home, so that does make it earier that I don't have to commute. And like others posted, men don't seem to be able to multi-task as well. DH loves our kids, but he's admitted that knowing what to do with them doesn't come naturally. He's a stresser, doesn't handle change well, so I fear a 3rd would put him over the edge.
