The other thing is to make sure it is a good match for you. You are going to probably get alot of answers from everyone telling you about their business. I was in your situation and have now been able to never return back to a job for the past 8 years due to finding the right business that gave us extra income.

Make sure you understand how the Home Based Industry works. Are you looking to have parties? Are you not wanting to have parties? Are you into Makeup? Are you into Health & Wellness. Do you like helping people? What to do you love to do? If married, how does your partner feel about you working from home?

There are thousands of businesses out there and you can become very overwhelmed. Make sure to check with the BBB. As the one mother said do not go on just testimonies. I always tell others, "documentation beats conversation. Research what is the #1 Company out there. Find out what will LEVERAGE your time so that you can still enjoy your baby and family. remember - if it sounds too good to be true - IT IS! Most of the companies providing the opportunity to work at home around your schedule DO sell a product. Mary Kay, Avon, Stampin' Up, Creative Memories (who I am a Consultant with), Melaleuca, Scentsy - these are all examples of legitimate companies you can be Consultants for at home. The money you make always depends on how much work you want to put into it. On the other side of the spectrum are people who do Medical Transcription at home. You can make very good money doing that without having to sell a product. There is training involved though and getting your "foot in the door". I would say research and decide what kind of thing you are interested in and then choose a company and research it with the BBB.
