Hello C.. My 10 yr. old daughter also has ADHD. Our pediatrician also has her Phd. in child psychology/psychiatry. Anyway we see her for everything from flu to ADHD. The ADHD visit does have to be separate from other visits (ie yearly check-ups, but she prescribes the medication, sends questionnaires to the school, etc. We have been very successful with her recommendations.
