The little experience I've had with Asperger's kids is that I was actually MORE likely to get the work out of them than the "regular" kids.
Why don't children with Asperger's do their homework?

Not sure what you are talking about. Last I checked they did.
Anna!!! How are ya doing? Seriously, this one is lame. Beneath you really.
Ina, Anna, Maria, M..
I think you need therapy.
You have to make ALL kids sit and do homework. Aspergers is no excuse.
MOST kids don't want to do their homework.
My friend's son has Aspergers.
He does his homework.
So does another woman's son I know.
Could we rephrase this? Why don't CHILDREN do their homework?
Many, if not most, do.
Is this for another college project?
You'll get better answers for your project if you ask your questions differently AND tell us you're doing a project, instead of just opening a new account everytime.
Then again, we've mentioned this before...
Thanks, Bug. I get really tired of working on serious answers and then finding out I've been HAD afterwards...
Dawn
Aspbergers children tend to have an emotional reaction to h.w. and may have a hard time completing it because: of stress and mental exhaustion during their day at school, and their cognitive profile.

How odd. I was talking to my friend's Aspie the other day and he was telling me all about his homework projects!
@Bug, you forgot Mandarie!
My son's best friend has Asperger's and does all his homework (he should, he's in all honors classes). My son (who has high-functioning Autism) ALSO does his homework. My son's other friends (who are all a mix of Asperger's and ASD) ALL do their homework. It's required of them so they do it. I find this to be a very strange question...
Because it is not a "preferred activity" and requires fine motor skills.
