Hi Moms,

My husband needs a primary care doctor, preferrably in the northern Arlington Heights/ Buffalo Grove/ Northbrook, even Deerfield area. Preferrably male. Can anyone make a recommendation, please?

Thanks so much!

My husband and I both go to Dr. Carl Lang. He is with Affinity Healthcare (formerly greater northwest medical group).
They are on Rand, just west of Barnaby's. The # is ###-###-####.
We both really like him. He has a great bedside manner, explains things very thoroughly, and spends as much time as you need answering questions.
We got the recommendation from my longtime friend. Her husband really likes him and has never stayed with a doctor this long (probably 15+ years). I highly recommend Dr. Lang. Good luck!

Dr. Glickman in Arlington Heights. He's on Arl Hts Road, just north of Thomas, south of Town & Country. The practice is Affinity Healthcare and they have a immediate care they are affiliated with by Barnaby's on Rand Road for off hours urgent health issues.

I don't care for a couple of the other dr's there at Affinity, but Dr. Glickman has always been a good dr for me and others that I know. He listens to me, will not over prescribe antibiotics, and is about my age (early 40s) so I know he'll be around for a while (I hope, I hate finding a new doctor that I click with)

their number is ###-###-####. I know they are in the United Healthcare plan, but not sure about others.

Both my husband and I go to the Family Doctors of Northbrook on Shermer. They have a doctor Christine Karasch (that's who I see) and there are two male docs, Dr. Tassler and Dr. Eisenstein. They performed my husbands vasectomy as well. We can always get in and we both really like the practice.

My mom, my aunt, my cousin, and my husband and I all got to Dr. Reginald Spears at Grove Medical (83 & 53 off Robert Parker Coffin). So far he has been great and we've all had no trouble getting in, even same day if needed. He's not preachy. His attitude is more I'm going to tell you what you need to do, and how to do it, it's up to you to do it if you want to get better. Thanks to him, I caught my Type 2 diabetes within a year of developing it.
