Which Hair Color Kit Do You Use ??

I've had success with Feria #100, I think it is called light blond. It has a gold undertone in my hair, a little warmer blond then white blond. I've paid to have lt golden highlight/coloring in my hair before and this is not that much different for the end result. I have naturally blond hair too and it gets a little dishwatery looking by late fall.

Update - - One more point, the first day or two after coloring it appears slightly more gold then the true end result. After a few washes, the excess colorant comes out and leaves the natural blond look. I just colored my hair again with this and thought I'd mention this so no one freaks out if it is slightly more golden at first or a little more than you expected once done coloring, give it a few washes and a few days to adjust. And - the conditioner that comes with the Feria rocks!

Just colored yesterday with Loreal Feria. I would NOT recommend it. I went with an auburn shade and it has a purpleish hue to it when in certain types of lighting. My BF did it for me and said it wasn't going on well. Although, the smell wasn't as bad as others I've tried.

I've used Nice and Easy in the past and have had good results. My girlfriend has dirty blond hair. She uses Nice and Easy. Although the color she chooses does not have any red in it, for the first two weeks after dying she looks like a strawberry blond (looks great on her) and then the red begins to fade and she gets the blond color.

I have used Clairol Nice and Easy for many years. My hair is a dark blond/light brown and I used to have it highlighted, but now I have a lot of grey hair at the crown of my head, so I have to do something to cover the grey. I decided that if I had to color my hair, I might as well go lighter. I use the color 103A - Natural Medium Neutral Blonde. It is a very natural color and I get lots of compliments on my hair. I found that you need to stay away from the Ash and Golden colors, as they tend make your hair reddish. Once you have colored your hair, then just touch up the roots so that your hair is not so damaged. It actually helps my hair to have some texture, because otherwise my hair is very fine. Sometimes in the summer when I am out in the sun and swim in chlorine water, my hair lightens up even more and then I switch to the Natural Light Neutral Blonde.

I also recommend Clairol Natural Instincts as the previous poster suggested. That is what I started with until I found how my hair would look and react to being colored. It is nice to start with a temporary color until you are certain what you want.

I have used Loreal Preference for over 10 years and can't bring myself to try another brand. It is super easy and I have always been pleased with the results. Even my hairdresser couldn't believe I colored my own hair. I switch back and forth between Natural Blonde and Lightest Natural Blonde. I have also used Golden Blonde. My husband likes my hair a little lighter so I have used Lightest Natural Blonde the last couple of times and been very very pleased. I think it is #9 1/2 or something like that. My natural hair color is dishwater blonde....the perfect color to color! HA
