World Market had tons of ornaments, and then for ribbon to make your own check out JoAnn's or any other fabric store - I find that they have a bit more than Michaels and Hobby Lobby. If I run into anything I will email you. Good Luck!!

We are doing a peppermint theme on our tree and I haven't been able to find much at all as far as ornaments and tree decorations. I want a big bow for the top and I wanted it to be candy cane stripes. I cant find it, wanted stripes ball, can't find them. I can't even find candy cane ribbon to do the bow myself!
I have been to Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Target, and Garden Ridge. Any suggestions?

Try Oriental Trading.com they should have some ornaments.
Hi there, I was out shopping at Tom Thumb in Plano and low and behold, there were the peppermint ornaments and stockings you were looking for. Kinda random that they would be at Tom Thumb, but they are really cute! Have a great night and happy decorating! J. :)
I honestly haven't seen anything in the stores, but you may check online. Also even trying to do things by hand. Here's the information I found by doing it from hand:
Peppermint Candy Tree
Warehouse stores make it easy (and cheap) to buy candy in bulk. Create a peppermint tree extravaganza using candy canes as ornaments and gluing together the cellophane wrappers (end-to-end) of wrapped peppermint balls for a unique garland. Flat wooden shapes can also be used as a backing for hot-glued candy decorations such as red hots, peppermint sticks, or mint disks. Keep these longer by spraying them with a clear sealer so humidity won’t affect the candy.
Good Luck,
C.
