Pottery Barn kids has such nice stuff that you don't even "need" the character stuff. Nor will you miss it! LOL
Hi Mammas,
My 5 year old is going to be moving up to a queen size bed in order to get my daughter into his twin and my newborn into the crib. Anyway-I've been looking all over for some fun boys bedding (preferably character bedding) in queen size and I can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
So I skipped character sheets and went with a twin size transformer comforter so it wasn't too expensive. When we move in a few months we'll get decals for his walls. And decorate that way. Thanks for all the suggestions :)

Check out Pottery Barn Kids, Land of Nod, and Garnet Hill. No characters, but very cool stuff otherwise.
Pottery Barn Kids has great selections. Here is a link for you. Hope this helps.

Pottery Barn is great and so is The Company Store! They often have equally cute bedding for much less, but I'm not sure about queen. Also try Garnet Hill.
*And you can get character bedding at Pottery Barn Kids in queen!
Good luck finding anything that big with characters. I will echo what the others have said and that he will quickly want a different character next month. Get colored then accessorize with pillow cases or stuffed animals.
I second Pottery Barn! They have adorable things for boys, however, they are a little pricey, but very long lasting durability.
You're likely not going to find "character" sheets at the queen size. I would recommend you settle for "guy" colors (dark blues, greens or tans) with a matching comforter. If your son wants "characters," consider posters, pictures or painting the walls.
Good luck!
Ditto to what Stephanie F said, you don't want to invest in "character" bedding anyway, at that age their tastes change quickly.
You can also just do character pillows/pillowcases :)
target, walmart. ebay or may be amazon.com
I like to shop on amazon... make sure to check the reviews (for any common product problems)... but if anyplace has it- they probably do!
Good Luck!

PS: if you can't find character bedding in the queen size, you could get a more "generic" boys set in cool colors... and get a character throw blanket and some pillows that match to put on the bed... the plus side to doing that is that in a year or two when he isn't "into" whatever he is now... you can easily update the room's theme without necessarily having to by all new bedding.
I don't see character bedding available for queen size beds, they're geared towards twin and sometimes full size. I would suggest going with solids that coordinate with a character theme, and using accents like pillows, pillowcases, lamps, rugs and blanket throws.
Also, you could character borders, decals and wall murals that are available to jazz up the room.

I found a few sheet and comforter sets at Ross for my boys in Queen size.
GL!

I second the pottery barn kids. Kinda stinks because hardly is going to sell queen and pottery barn kids can get a bit pricey. Like a queen spiderman sheet is around $119 from what I've seen. Maybe it's reduced now but that's what I saw a couple months ago.

If you input in the search box "kids queen size bedding" many will come up.
Boy colors etc.
Kids, outgrown "character" things, quickly.
Just get him boy color bedding.
And with accessories & decorations, then use "character" themed things.
But for the bedding itself, just use 'boy' colors.
You could also find removable wall decals.
Walmart has those too.
Personally, I would go with a plaid quilt or a solid color comforter. Then I would get artwork and accessories with the character he likes. Art.com has tons of character prints. We got some and then bought inexpensive frames at Michaels and framed them ourselves. Our son's room had a denim comforter/bedskirt, and then he had airplane acc. and Mickey Mouse print until he was about 6 years old. Now he has a plaid pottery barn quilt and baseball accessories and prints. We could change out the accessories really easily without buying new bedding. If you go this route, you will have a much bigger selection of bedding to choose from.
