Where & When Are the BEST Holiday Craft Fairs?

A couple of websites you can find shows is: www.craftlister.com , also www.festivalnet.com . I know there are a few others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head! There is also a really good magazine listing shows all over TX: "Where It's At". I think their website is www.whereitsatmagazine.com

My parents organize & promote really high quality arts & crafts shows--mostly very nice handmade items. Their website is www.shoppingseasons.com . They have one show left this year at the Garland Special Events Center which is just off the George Bush Turnpike. They do charge admission to their shows (usually $3 or $4), but the admission always benefits a local charity or non-profit.

My husband and I love to check for Craft Fairs etc. on www.countryreporter.com but some of these are outside of the metroplex.

We also like www.aolcityguide.com for ideas around the metroplex.

There is a really big craft fair that we've gone to the last couple of years in Ardmore, OK on Novemer 10,11, and 12th, if your interested. It's about an hour and a half or two hour drive up HWY 35 to get there but it's really big. We did alot of our Christmas shopping there last year.

I checked the Ardmore website and it shows two events going on that weekend and I'm not sure which one it is so we'll probably check out both since we'll be staying up there for the weekend. Here is their website.

I've had trouble finding ways to advertise this, too, and would absolutely love to see some responses from other moms about events they have going on or other websites to find listings. I'm always looking to buy the great stuff sold by mom-run businesses, but I don't like attending parties....craft fairs are the perfect way to shop!
