When Will I Get a Period After Depo?

I decided not to get my last depo shot because depo made me evil, sick and bleed like a stuck pig (all the time) I also had a myrid of other side effects but I wont bother you with them all. I had only had 2 shots. One in May at the hospital after DD was born and then the 2nd one August. So I didnt get the shot I was due Nov 3rd. I have been paranoid since DD was a HUGE suprise and i am on a few medications that would do brain damage to an unborn baby if i were to become prego again now. So DF and I have been usign condoms since DD was born (even when i was on depo) & havent gotten a "period" yet. I bled the whole darn time I was on the shot and now that I have been off it I bled very lightly for 2 days had TERRIBLE cramps and then nothing the next month. I was under the impression you couldnt get prego on depo or right after coming off it. But also we used condoms RELIGIOUSLY. So Am i still hormonaly screwed up from the depo? I took a pregnancy test about a month ago because I was paranoid. But it came out negative. I havent seen or spoken to my obgyn. Mostly because I am with out a car and cant afford to pay a cab $80 for the trip. (lookin gfor a dr close by that takes my insurance but havent found one within walking distance)..Love to hear what depo has done to other people and if you think thats whats keepign me from my period. Im havign off and on menstral cramps all week and mood swings too.
