Can you plz tell me how can we view old thread/chat messages on facebook ? with the new format /timeline i cant see the complete message sent to me ( if its a long email) neither i can track the record of sent messages as it was previously .
It did not work . Well Do you guys have the format in which messages appear in a grid on left side and open in a box on right ? i clicked friend name , the message opened but i really do not know how to scroll above , as the scroll button doesnt work , neither i can see the option of " read more " . My husband has a timeline format but his inbox is still running on the old format ? it did not work
Jo's right. After you do that, click on "comment" on the subject. You don't have to write anything, but just clicking on "comment" will pull up the thread so that you can read everything.
After that, when you see part of a post, it should say the word "more" at the end of it, and then you click on "more" and it will show the entire post.

When you are in messages click on the person, that should bring up the history. At least it does for me.
I tried it just now, clicking on your friends name will bring the messages page that you were seeing before. I was able to read all the previous messages as well. I have to say FB is acting crazy these days ... so many times things don't show up properly. I am having issues with the new activity log , for the past 1 week none of my activity is seen there though I have been very active.
