My favorite (and very little known) baby item was the Infa-Feeders my mom bought. They look like a short, squat bottle with a rubber nipple, but they are made for babyfood, not milk. They have a bigger nipple hole. And inside the tube part is a little disk--you push it to the bottom, dump the babyfood in, and as the baby sucks, the disk rises up and pushes the babyfood out through the nipple. It is such a wonderful invention! You can give baby their pureed food on the go, or at home when you're too busy to stop and spoon feed, or maybe when you just want less mess. It takes a baby about 1 minute to down a whole bottle of babyfood vs 5-10 minutes to spoon feed. They sell them at Babies R Us, Walgreens, and sometimes Albertsons. But I'll warn you, even the employees have no idea what they are or that they have them. You just have to find them in the baby feeding section.
I loved the Playtex Vent-Air bottles. They are great for getting rid of air bubbles so baby has less gas.
I love my Madela Pump In Style breast pump. So fast and easy to use. And I love the Boppy Pillow for nursing.
And I couldn't live without my double stroller (Graco DuoGlide). I also really like my Baby Trend FlexLoc car seat for infants. It has tons of great features and is really well made.
Great question, S.!
