I am looking to get a new twin mattress for my 3 year old daughter....we are not getting a bed for it now (will do that once my son is out of a crib and they will sleep on a twin and pull out trundle)....so I am just looking for a mattress (not box spring or frame)..I don't want to spend a ton of money but also don't want to get her something super cheap. What brand do you recommend?
This is when it's best to go to a mattress store. If you don't know a reputable one in your area, ask friends for recommendations. If you find a great salesperson, he/she can narrow it down to just what you're looking for. I found it really helpful to talk to a salesperson and get pointed to ones that suited a young child that were in my price range. Ended up getting a mid-range mattress for our daughter ... I'm thinking it was Sealy?
We recently got our son a Sealy Reubens plush twin mattress only from Sears online at a very reasonable price. It is so comfortable and he sleeps like a dream on it. They still have some really good deals...check them out...hope this helps you some!!

We got my son an off-brand tempupedic (memory foam) and added a pillow topper. That thing feels like you're sleeping on a cloud! He loves it, and so do guests when they stay in his room. You can find the off brands in a twin for about $100.
