There are always people who need them.
Or you can take it to a 2nd hand bookstore/music store and they can give it away or something to customers.
Or, donate them to schools maybe....
good luck,
Susan

We just recycled MOST of ours.
I was feeling perky at one point and made a bunch of manipulatives out of some of them.
You can also see if your library will take donations. Our library regularly asks for them in their newsletters so they can replace cases worn and cracked over time and travel.
I just gave a bunch away to a person via craigslist. I wouldn't put your home address on there, but they can contact you through an anonymous email and you can meet them somewhere.
:)
freecycle is another website where people who are interested come by and take them. I'm sure here are many people out there that can use them.
We got rid of a used dishwasher from using that site and my friend got rid of a surpluss of kids clothing hangers. There are many posts for a variety of things. The idea of the website is that other people may want your trash/treasure & then it doesn't end up in the landfill. Check out www.freecycle.org. You may need to become a member, but it is free.
You can donate them to a thrift store. I've bought cases from Goodwill.
Hi, Brownlee:
Do you have recycling containers or recycling plant near you.
Check that out.
Good luck. D.
Just got a mothers day gift from my first grader with a recycled dvd case. He put his picture in the clear part, and glued rhinestones on it and I can stand it on my desk. Lovely and green!
put them in the plastic part of recycling or sell them in a yard sale. kids are always loosing cases for their dvd's.
