Good morning everyone!!!! My bday is not until December, but I would like to find some fun and different things to do for my "special day"?!? I have not actually done anything big in the past nine years... normally I just have a nice dinner with my family and that is all (which I am TOTALLY fine with)... but this year my boyfriend insists on doing something special! What are some great ideas on things to do? I am totally clueless and I never really do much... I live in Carrollton but can go wherever really! Where are some places that you just LOVE but is normally just a "specail time place"??? Have a GREAT Monday everyone!!!!

What can I do next?

You could get an overnight sitter. Get a hotel room in downtown Fort Worth and go out on the town. All the stores and buildings will be all lit up and decorated. Neimans windows are a site at Christmas time. You can bundle up and walk around downtown, have dinner, go see some live music. You wont be driving anywhere, so you could have a few cocktails. You will be close enough to home in case of emergency but far enough to be a minivacation into a differant world than Carollton.

Happy B-day!
Dress up for a nice dinner and a show or movie!

Is there a hotel nearby where you can have a fancy dinner & cocktails, a dip in the spa & sauna? Retire to your room for some adult cocktails/bottle of wine & watch a movie.

Take in a play.

Window shop w/some hot cocoa.

Limo tour of Christmas lights?

Since you have a boyfriend, the mini-vacations sound wonderful. I don't but have a super cool daughter that always tries to make birthdays special for her friends and family. We always do a dinner although my birthday falls so close to mother's day that is sometimes a pain. We have done Disney, movies, the beach, you name it. This is her deal, not mine...she likes to make people feel special. This past May I was leaving for Philadelphia early the next morning for training so she got tickets for my favorite comedian in Hollywood and we had a great night. Maybe totally not appropriate for a 17 year old but she loved it and can get humor without dropping the f-bomb herself. We stayed out way too late and I never went to bed before my flight but it was awesome!!
