What Is Your Favorite SIMPLE Appetizer?

I'm in charge of appetizers for Thanksgiving. It's 3 couples and our respective kiddos. Not worried about the appetizer being kiddo friendly, I can do finger foods for them separately.

I would love to have you share your favorite simple appetizer. Simple meaning not one million ingredients. ;)

TIA!

Caprese Salad Skewers

You will need:
wooden skewers (I get the shorter 4-5" ones)
cherry tomatoes
fresh basil
1/2"-1" mozzarella balls (available packaged in salt water in cheese section of grocery)
bottle of blaze- balsamic glaze available at target (Balsamic vinegar will work if you can't find this)

Grab skewer, place tomato, cheese and basil leaf on it.
Place on plate, drizzle with blaze or vinegar.
SO good and easy.

Enjoy!

Cream cheese at room temp and then stir in a can of rotel! Serve cold with fritos-my co-worker made it for our potluck and it was super yummy! You can also make the spinach dip on the back of the Knorr Veg Soup mix- its easy and really good.

I just had this last week at a potluck - don't know if there are too many ingredients for what you are looking for!
1 lb chicken boiled (20 minutes) and chopped
2 - 8oz packages of cream cheese (I used the 1/3 less fat version)
8 oz blue cheese dressing (I use the light version)
10 oz buffalo wing sauce (TX Pete or Stubbs Wicked(hotter))
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese (I use the part skim milk version)

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients and 4 oz of the 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese with an electric mixer on the lowest speed.
Place in baking dish and top with remaining 4 oz if shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake 25 minutes.

OR

8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1 can lump crab meat
Cocktail Sauce

Mix the cream cheese and lump crab and form into a ball - pour the cocktail sauce over - serve with tortilla chips and or water crackers.

Block of cream cheese covered with hot pepper jelly (or red pepper jelly, or green pepper jelly, or raspberry chipotle sauce, you get the idea), served with crackers -- always a hit and the easiest spread ever.

I also love a simple cheese cube and grapes tray. That's my favorite appetizer personally.

Blessings,
N.

Our favorite is water chestnuts with bacon and/or hot artichoke dip.

you wrap a little piece of bacon around a water chestnut, secure with toothpick and bake. Crunchy tasry treat.

Atrichoke dip is drained can of artichokes, mashed, mix with mayo, parmesan cheese and bake. Yummy!

OK..I know this one sounds a bit odd..but go with me, you will love it, I promise. I just made it for something and it was highly praised.
I bag of frozen meatballs...I even used the walmart brand
1 jar of Grape jelly..not a sper big one, I think it was 10oz, but I could be way off on that one:)
1 jar of Heinz chilli sauce (found by the ketchup)
I turned on my crockpot and dumped the jelly and chilli sauce together and stirred until well mixed. Then add the meatballs, toss together and cook. I would say on high for about 3 hours, or low for 5-6. I did open the pot and stir them up a few times, and dont over cook them..they can get over done for sure. It was a filling appetizer that adults and kids really liked:) Have fun!
