I LOOOOOVE my Elle McPherson bras! SOOOOO comfy & supportive (they do run small--just FYI). My fave is the "Maternelle" one.
A great site is www.BareNecesseties.com (sp???). Another is www.FigLeaves.com
Good luck!
It's about that time..time to get my "over the shoulder boulder holders"! ;)
I think I had a Bravado last time around, but can't remember what kind..I am looking for something to hold me up (without underwire), can handle DDs, comfy and easy to open. No lace or fancy stuff (I'm not worried about impressing my hubby...when my breasts are "functional" he stays away anyway! lol)Any good suggestions?

I bought all my nursing bras and some great nursing tops from Motherwear.com. Highly recommend them! Best of luck!
Definitely Bravado. They fit the best and were more comfortable than those I bought at Walmart or other stores.
i bought 2 very plain bras from Motherhood maternity. they were inexpensive, and they really didnt provide great support. i bought 2 more from Target and i liked those better. after the first year of breastfeeding, i finally switched to underwire nursing bras and the "girls" are MUCH more perky :o)
I loved my Second Nature Easy Zip Nursing Bra. It doesn't have an underwire and is still very supportive. My back had started to hurt from using the regular non-underwire bras and after using this bra for one day I noticed a difference. All my friends have gotten it and have loved it too. It is easy to clean and dries quickly. The bra also unzips to the side so it doesn't get wet from leaks while nursing. Highly recommend it if it is still available.

I liked the Bravado OK, but my favorites were the YES! nursing bra (made in Canada, I believe) and the Anita seamless microfiber softcup nursing bra. The Anita was maybe a bit less supportive over time because of the fabric stretching with wear, but I think all bras (maybe especially nursing bras) will do that. The YES! bras had lace accents, which I didn't want/need, but it didn't interfere with my usage of the bras, and they were pretty comfy. The Anita fit great. I actually had an Anita maternity bra, too, and I loved it. (I was a 32F/G when I first started nursing - so support & comfort were key!)
I have always used the Bravado Supreme. I like the support without the underwire and it was one of the only ones I could find that came in a 34H.
I purchased a couple from Motherhood Maternity. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the brands. I do know that they have several styles that may work for you.
I actually only used the nursing bra till I got the hang of breastfeeding then just went to wearing a regular bra that just has a soft cup. I never liked the lines that showed thru my shirts when I wore the nursing bras.
My favorite nursing bra was the bravado brand by far! There is a great website that I recommend to any nursing mother - www.breakoutbras.com
Shipping is free and they offer great prices and the products arrive in about a week.
Plus they offer very detailed information on making sure you size yourself correctly.
I used the basic plus style bravado for my first son and my second son I got the same thing, plus the "body silk" seamless bravado for dressier tops (doesn't have the sports bra style like the basic).
The best thing about bravado is they accommodate all sizes plus fluctuating changes because of nursing.
Don't forget the breast pads - great to help with leaking and you can wash them in those laundry nets.
The basic Bravado bra is best. I have to get the bigger size category, but in general, it is the same bra. They hold my boob weight the best and are the most comfortable... they are not attractive or "supportive" in a fashionable way. But they are supportive in a comfortable way. Just don't dry them - they shrink just enough to be too tight then...
I literally had to go pull my nursing bras out of the trash to look. Just today I threw them all away!! I too had DDs it took me a few tries to find one I really liked. I liked the Expectant Moments by Playtex.

I have found that Target has the best selection, however I favor just the plain sports bras with the sphagetti straps. I also have a bunch of the tanks with the bra in them also with sphagetti straps. This way I can easily access with no snaps and my stomach has full coverage.
