My hair is the same - Aveda products are the only ones I've ever found (and I feel like I've tried them all, from Garnier to Matrix and everything in between) that make my hair look great all the time.

I use Pantene's smoothing conditioner for color-treated dry hair. It really helps tame my hair. I follow this up with Aveda's Phomollient and the dry frizzies are gone.

I use the Aussie spray-in leave-in conditioner after I condition my hair. And- then for fly-aways I'll spray some in my brush and comb it through. Recently I got Citre Shine spray laminator and that REALLY tames my frizzies. Just be careful- A little goes a long way... (it can make your hair oily...) Also, sometimes I'll just use hand lotion to tame fly-aways.

Good luck!

Matrix- "Smooth" line. It's fabulous! Orange bottles- shampoo, conditioner, and pre-heat spray. Use all 3 together, and you will have new hair!

honestly the best conditioner i've found is head and shoulders. i have fine hair that gets straw-like very easily. but the conditioner is amazing! it doesn't weigh my hair down or anything! its hte healthiest my hair has ever been.

OJON! I buy it at Ulta. I have had keratin before and it made my hair feel amazing, but now this OJON makes my hair feel awesome and manageable. I have used Aveda products before but noit had this experience. I am telling EVERYONE about it!!

I love Aveeno shampoo (moisturizing variety) and the Aveeno Leave in (spray on) conditioner.

I think a cream conditioner is good. it is something that will make the hair feel smooth without weighing it down. I would also look into the stuff they have called frizz ease. It is by John sebastian and they sell it in walmart and target. If you are really concerned talk to your hairdresser about products to use for your hair.
