Panda Express! Or if you are going to go to the grocery store for something quick, I love the pasta voila meals in the frozen food section (my fav is chicken alfredo with carrots, peas and broccoli). Just throw it in a skillet and heat it up. =)

A loaf of french bread and some meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado and cream cheese!

You can make a "Super Shaggy Sandwich"...it is my 'go to' meal when I don't feel like cooking anything...and the kids love them, they are very thick and look really big and they feel like Scooby and Shaggy when they eat them!

A roasted chicken from the deli section, a bag of salad or some coleslaw, and a package of Kings Hawiian rolls are our go to meal when we don't feel like cooking and don't want to eat take out.

Papa Murphy's.

When you do go to the store grab some of the Bertolli frozen dinners to keep on hand. You just open them, throw them in a skillet, put a lid on them and let them cook for 10 minutes and they are yummy! I keep them on hand so when the hubbs is out of town and I'm out of energy my two girls and I still have a yummy meal to enjoy together.

Have you ever tried Papa Murphy's Pizza? We love them and they have healthy pizza's if you would rather have that and really good salads too. You call it in, pick it up and cook it at home. I also really like their cheese bread, i call it little pillows of heaven. Not too pricy either.

If you do have some things in your cupboard... I'd suggest a wonderful site my neighbor told me about... www.supercook.com
You type in what you have and it says recipes you can make! It is neat! Never had I seen a site like this, usually it is going through endless recipes and coming up w/ nothing since I don't have all the ingredients... Try there if you don't want to necessarily go pick something up.

I'd stop in at the local supermarket and get a rotisserie chicken and baked beans and a packet of pillsbury biscuits from the refridgerator section.

I like Boston Market too! Yummy! My 2 year old eats most of what they offer and loves it. Tonight we are going to try the KFC grilled chicken and have a picnic! I've heard it's delish, but I've never tried it! Also Jimmy Johns is one of our other drive-thru favorites and you can make that healthy.

I assume shopping tomorrow means you dont want to get out of the car tonight? I'm with you on that one sister!
You can get a flameante roasted chicken and tortillas through the drive through at Taco Cabana. $9.99 I think. You can add rice and beans. That's a healthy option.
Or Boston Market - good homestyle food
What I am going to do tonight is Little Caesars Hot N Ready Pepperoni Pizza for $5. That and a couple bottles of water will be our picnic food.
We are either going to Lake Grapevine to see the fireworks or to see the free blues cnoncert at Magnolia Green Park. No time for cooking tonight. :)

I am frequently in your situation. I never let myself run out of eggs though so when all else fails, we "do breakfast". Pancakes, eggs, toast.

i agree, i hate to do take out so i opt for a roasted chicken, some instant mashed potatoes & a bag of microwave steam veggies...it's probably not much better than take out though!
