Does anyone know of any moms only groups? Or what to begin one? I recently moved back to this area, and the friends I had before have all moved away. I have 2 girls, 3 and 5. My husband works, and had friends that he goes and hangs out with. I have NO ONE! I feel at times like I am going to go insane if I dont get other adult conversation with someone who has some idea what being a mom is like. I wanted to start taking classes, but really dont have the money for that right now. Anyone have any ideas? ANYTHING would be helpful!

I am on the westside. I am a stay at home mom of three. 7,5,4; two boys and one girl. I understand not having adult conversation. would love to meet and talk or chat online.
I am also a SAHM of two, a 3 yr. girl and 1 yr. old boy living in the west side area. I too have recently moved here and do not know too many people. One of the things I have discovered is a wonderful church right down the street. I go when I can (when the children are being reasonably good). It is a great place to socialize, not only for myself but for the kids as well. During services and functions there is a nursery for the little ones, or classes for the older one. They have a dinner every Wednesday for a buck. The best part is the people are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Even though I do not attend regularly I have never been snubbed or feel left out. The pastor is funny, easy going and responsive. I could not ask for a nicer church. I joined this not too long ago.We're still trying to get new mamas in. There are playdates all the time nd even do Mommies night out,family night out,etc. You may be far away for it though??? Chek it out. Everyone has a meet and great before becoming an actual member. So that way not everyone can see all the sites info.
I too have 2 little girls 3 and 18 months. I am also looking for other moms in this area. I live in Riverside/Avondale. It is hard to get away with out the kids but I would love to meet at the park or something. Feel free to email me ____@____.com

There is a yahoo group called mom4moms it is not for playdates. It's just for the moms and eventually we have family get together.
