Im not sure if any of you can help answer my question but here it is. Three years ago I got the flu shot and ever since then I've had a problem digesting eggs. I usually end up with the trots (I dont know how to spell diahreah so I'll say trots) and today my husband made me an omelette thinking that it sounded good I wanted one and now im paying for it dearly. Not so much as one end but I really feel nauseas and super blah almost like motion sick or something. Can the shot be the what triggered this? I used to eat them just fine and quite frequently but now its few and far between always with a consequence to pay afterwards.
jaimee, come to think of it about a month ago I had a skillet with egglands best and I was fine that day. These were the cheapo ones I might have to have another go with some cagefree, organic ones and see if that helps.
No I still have my gallbladder and the only thing that affects me in the morning is eggs when i have them.
Definitely sounds like an allergy to eggs, and as the flu vaccine is processed with eggs (my nephew cannot have it for this reason) it possibly was set off by that first shot.
Funny because I had a severe reaction to vaccines and then started having trouble eating eggs after that. I thought it was an allergy but when I was tested, it wasn't. But if I get organic or cage free eggs, I'm totally fine. Hope that helps!

I agree with GrammaRocks. The vaccine is processed with eggs and it can very easily backfire and cause a reaction to them. You may be able to do a body cleanse and start fresh. The toxicities will not simply get out of your system, you have to remove them. It's worth a shot!

It is possible that the flu shot could have caused this reaction. The reason why is the following: The liver is the organ in the body that detoxifies the body. When it is over-whelmed and cannot process everything you will see reactions such as an allergy. The flu shot is known to have mercury, as well as other heavy metals. Heavy metals do not leave your body once they are in unless you make a concerted effort to get them out. So, in theory, a small amount of mercury in that shot could have been the straw that broke the camel's back for your liver. Now the liver is over-taxed and you start seeing reactions. It's the same for my children during hay fever season. During most of the year their food allergies are pretty controllable. But during hay fever season, when the liver is already taxed by the environment, the food allergies also get worse. My suggestion---You probably need to do a liver cleanse and a heavy metal cleanse. I can suggest some people you can work with who can assist you in the process. In fact, you can even get blood test, hair analysis, and urine and stool tests to see the full extent in you life. Eggs almost always make me feel slightly nauseas after eating them. I don't consider it an allergy, just a slight food sensitivity. I find that if I drink some orange juice with the eggs, the feeling is lessened.

Have you had your gall bladder removed? Mine is gone, and I find that eating some foods (eggs, anything fatty) first thing in the morning can give me the trots. I have to prime my system before eating some foods. Something to think about. It sounds like something other than a food allergy.
I just got the flu shot last week. I had to fill out a questionnaire before I took the shot. One of the questions is, "are you allergic to eggs".
Hmmmmm. I'd call a doctor and check on it. Hope you feel better.
