It's completely free and has tons of resources, advice and support. I've lost 16 lbs since finding them a little over a month ago. It's not a fad diet, just a healthy way of living.
I am struggling trying to keep my weight off. I was REALLY thin back before I had my older son and I gained a lot of weight with my pregnancy plus my husband was gone all the time being in the Army and I was in California away from all my family and friends so I was pretty sad so I was eating a lot. After I had my son I lost all my weight but 10 pounds and few years later divorced his dad and throughout the years been gaining more and more weight. Since then I have remarried and had a baby and divorced again and now I just had a Birthday on Friday the 18th and would LOVE to have my old self again. I am thinner than I have been in a while but still have A LOT of weight to lose(75 lbs). I have been walking about 4-5 times a week and that seems to help some but need to do something else to tone up and continue losing weight for my health, self esteem and my kids.
I am financially struggling so joining a health club is NOT an option right now. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated..
Thanks in Advance

Michelle,
Check out this website... www.3fatchicks.com
They have lots of tips and they are funny. Also, I am going to a club, which I know you said it out. But I would suggest doing a tape, maybe check one out from the library (like Leslie Sansone's Two Mile Walk -- in place) and do some handweights while you work out. I did the Leslie tape 4 to 5 times a week, with small weights and ate low cal/low fat and lost a good amount of weight in 4 months. I think 12 pounds.
Hi, there - welcome to the "moms who can't seem to get their bodies back" club!
I highly recommend the Weight Watchers program. It works because it really teaches you how to change how and what you eat but you still get to choose what you eat. Many friends of mine have been on the WW diet and have their bodies back, it's amazing! It really is a lifestyle change that you can really achieve.
It goes by points and you can even enter the calories/fat/fiber from nutrition labels to get the WW points on anything you want to eat. You can also enter recipes and have points calculated to see how the dish can fit into your diet.
Good luck!
I recommend Lady of America http://www.ladyofamerica.com/. They have program called Fitness Boot Camp and you don't have to be a member of the gym to do it.
LOA's Fitness Bootcamp
Description: This is not just a regular Class...This is a Full 5 week Fitness Camp!!!! Everything you need to get to the next level in your Fitness Journey
15 workouts, a total body analysis at the beginning and end, and an individualized nutrtion program from a certified nutritionist.
Its 3 days a week (2 week day and 1 weekend) with a varity of times like early morning, afternoon, or evening.
I think the next class is starting at in a few days so you may want to call one near you, or look at the local website, for price and times.
Again, you dont have to be a member to do it and they have free child care. My son enjoyed going there. If you go to the web-site you can also get a free week pass.
Good luck,
TLee
Hey there! I know EXACTLY what you mean! I need motivation...someone to go with me to keep me company too! I have a work out center here at my apartments and a few guest passes for 24 hour fitness(where i have a membership). If you want, you can come over 2 times a week and we can work out. Even possibly walk in the evenings. Let me know your thoughts!!
