You're doing just fine! What matters most is that the baby is healthy and your doc is saying that he/she is. The weight gain will come on its own. The baby is still very little. It's in the last trimester that you'll notice it the most! Gaining 50 pounds is NOT normal nor is it healthy! Keep up the good eating habits... both you and your baby will be thankful later. Losing whatever you do gain will be much easier if you keep up your good eating habits.. and white bread should only be used as a sponge.. never as a food source. It has no nutritional value! :)
