Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can look for a new bed set for my soon to be 3 year old? For her birthday, we are getting her a big girl bed..as opposed to the Dora toddler bed she has now. I've looked everywhere I can think, Dillards, Penneys, Walmart, Macys, kohl's, all of the normal department stores. I can't find anything I like. Is there a website out there that has affordable bed sets for little girls. I don't want a character set, I want something tha'ts got pinks and purples and with a quilt like look. So if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears :) Thanks!

I know exactly what you're saying. It's hard to find something cute that's reasonably priced. I found a quilt for my daughter at TJ Maxx for about $40. I've since seen some really cute bedding at Marshall's. Good luck!
If you live in the KC area, try Mady and Me at Prairie Village. She has the cutest stuff there, but kind of pricey. Also Pottery Barn Kids and even good old JCPenney. If you can find the name of the bedding group you like, you could go on eBay and look for it there.
Target ussually has cute stuff that does not have cartoon characters - that is where I got bedroom stuff for both of my boys. You might also try ebay or just go online and search for girls bedding. It can be tough to find something cute that will last for a long time - good luck!
