So What Happened?

Thanks Moms. We went to Megamind and it was great. I think much went over my 4 1/2 year olds head, but they both really liked it. To the helpful person who suggested we do reading or art, we do tons of both and a movie is a special treat. By the way, the music was great.....took me back to the 80's rock from my youth. ( ;

My kids both loved Despicable Me- and they are the same age. Haven't seen the others. The movies are a nice treat, aren't they?

I vote Megamind or Despicable Me.

My boys are 7 and 5 and want to see both these.

Despicable Me. I was surprised by the violence in Legend and even in Megamind. Granted Megamind is a GREAT movie, I can't wait to see it again. But very full of action and lots of explosions. Alpha and Omega is the worst movie I have ever seen, and my kids (9 and 10) agreed. But Despicable Me is still a huge favorite!!!

My five year old saw Despicable Me when she was four. I just asked if she saw it and liked it and she said yes. Asked what it was about and she gave me a small synopses. That one should work.

As a great grandmother, current tutor in Palo Alto schools, I would suggest you consider reading to your four and six year olds. letting the six year old write some of the words already learned thus far in school and letting both of them paint on big sheets of paper and maybe even do some cutting and pasting.

Then if it gets really rainy let them go outside in their boots and rain hats and splash in mud puddles. If this does not take up as much time as driving to the movie show, how about doing a baking project together for snack or dinner?

As them and see which they would rather do.

Despicable Me. I took the kids to see it in the summer. Thought I would hate it but it was amazing
