For those of you who have walk in showers with doors, is the door handle on the side of the shower spicket or on the side opposite the spicket? We are putting a door on our shower and I'm trying to figure out which way would reduce the amount of water my children allow to escape the enclosure when they get in. Thanks

What can I do next?

Mine is opposite and while it's not an issue for me, when I try to wash my daughter's hair, my arm gets all wet.

Enjoy the new shower!

Our current shower is opposite, but our old house had it on the same side. Both ways worked and I think it has more to do with having the door open so it goes against the wall when open...so it's not in the way of the flow of traffic when open. If ours opened the other way and I needed to grab something in the bthrm while showering, I'd have to close the shower door to get it out of the way. Hope that makes sense.

Our shower door handle is on the same side as the shower head. We don't have a problem with water escaping.
