T.K.
I take a B complex every day for energy and it just makes me feel better. But it doesn't do anything for weight loss, so far as I can tell. Well, it helps you feel energized enough to work out, so that's helpful!
Hello. So my husband said a few girls at his work get Vitamin B shots to help with weight loss...on top of working out. Does anyone know about this? Can you just ask your doctor for a VB shot? Does it work?
Thanks :)

Im not to sure about the shots but i recently started taking a B6 vitamin. This is supposed to help your metobolism. I lost 2 pounds and havent changed my diet. I also have been talking vitamin E pills which helps give you more energy so that you can get more exercise in! Hope this helps!
It gave my husband a 3 day boost of energy each month. He upped his dose to weekly and didn't lose a pound, but tested too high on B so the doctor won't prescribe anymore. I took it for 2 years, felt no extra energy, and no weight loss. The women who told me about this have since gotten heavy and they were skinny at the time and are still taking B12 shots. You must have a prescription.
I was given Vitamin B injections in conjuction with Phentermine. The Vitamin B just makes you "feel better" really, give you some extra added energy. You can actually purchase the sublingual vitamin B from health stores and it is the same as the injections (that is what my doctor told me). I don't know that it helps you to loose weight but, I do believe it helps with your metabolism in some way. Hope that helps. I know after I got my injections, I felt great for a few days. That is why my doctor told me to get the sublingual to use between injections.
It's a diuretic, so it would help to reduce water retention.
