Ladies, I need help. I am going to be going to Jacksonville Florida on wednesday. Does anyone know how to post so that it goes tothat area? I want to get info on a car from the airport to the hotel. Just found out that the hotel does not offer a shuttle. you would think a hotel that big would but no. Anyway if anyone has the info on how I do that can you let me know. I sent an email in the contact us info spot but they did not respond. thanks

Call the hotel, they can tell you if there is a shuttle. There are usually public shuttles to the area hotels in most major cities that run from $10 - $15.
I did that when I visited another area... I had another email address, so I just signed up as a new user under that zip code.
Hi Sheri Look up Jacksonville Florida on the internet and it will tell all that you need to know about the area. Call car rentals places in that area and they will tell what you need to know about renting a car. All on the airports have car rental shuttles.

SORRY I don't have advise about Florida but congratulations on conquering Breast cancer! My mother is a thirty three year survivor and I just survived uterine cancer! WE are in a sisterhood now! Congratulations. I just hit eight weeks and I am so happy! To be alive and writing this. Of course! Hope you get a car. Could you get a taxi? Call one of the car rental places? Could the hotel recommend something even if they don't have a shuttle. That is a little weird. But well, life is weird, isn't it?
Do you want to rent a car? It's unclear since your first choice was a hotel shuttle. There are other shuttles at airports that drop you at whatever hotel. Lots cheaper than renting a car.

Sheri, you should be able to just hail a cab at the airport and ask them to take you to your hotel. You can do a Google search for "Jacksonville" "taxi" if you think you need to talk to the cab companies in advance
Congratulations on your trip. You can just type car rental jacksonville florida and the internet will pull up all the car rental places in that area. Then you can pick the car you want in your price range.
