Can't comment on where/prices, but I wanted to suggest a vegetable or fruit bouquet as tabletop displays or even centerpieces!
I am responsible for the vegetables and the fruit for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary for 125 people. We are having finger foods. Where can I get veggies and fruits in large quantities for the best price? SAMs? Cosco?
Thank you in advance!

I use sams a lot for providing for large groups. I've not been disappointed once. You have to decide if you want to do the prep work or purchase already done. If you need help deciding quantity, I have this site that's very helpful. Www.ellenskitchen.com.
Blessings to you and congrats to your in-laws.

I have very good luck getting veggie and fruit trays from Sams club. I would go to your local grocery store deli frst though and ask for a catering menu (sams might have one) so you can find out the amount you need for 125 people. We did this when I was putting together a meat and cheese tray. It tells you how much to get.
I would just purchase trays from your local food store. I don't think you save that much by buying the fruit /vegetables and cutting it yourself.
Do you have any fruit markets by you? They usually have the freshest, most reasonably priced fruits and veggies. I know at least the ones here in Michigan do. Since you live in a warmer region, do you have any country markets or farmers who sell their crops at fruit stands? Cider mills? Maybe Gordon Food Service?
I would look at a grocery store and see if either their trays would work or if they do kabob style. It's well worth it to have someone put it together, IMO, for that many people.
Sams & Costcos will have the best price for large quantities AND best
tasting produce/fruit.
You can go to local auctions/Farmer's Markets as well but it will be more
expensive.
Make a tentative list of what you want and call each store and ask for a price.
Aldi - if there is one in your area
Depending on when the anniversary is, you may be able to grow them for dirt cheap.
